To get there, you can:

1. By private vehicle

You can get there directly using Google Maps or Waze. It’s important to make sure your route goes through Melipeuco and not through the park entrance near Curacautín, since La Baita is much closer to the Melipeuco entrance.

2. By plane

You have three options from Temuco Airport:

• Shuttle + bus + taxi: Take a shuttle to the city of Temuco. From there, head to the Nar-Bus terminal to take a bus to Melipeuco (tickets must be purchased in person). Once in Melipeuco, you can take a taxi to the lodge; the fare is about 25,000 pesos.
• ⁠Rental car: From the airport, you can rent a car and drive directly to the lodge, following the route through Melipeuco.
• ⁠Private taxi: We can help you arrange a private taxi from the airport to La Baita Lodge. The approximate cost per leg is $95,000.

3. By bus from Santiago

The Nar Bus company offers a direct service from Santiago to Melipeuco. Upon arrival, you can take a taxi to the lodge (approximate cost: $25,000).

4. By bus from a destination other than Santiago

You can take a bus to Temuco, then head to the Nar-Bus terminal to take a Temuco-Melipeuco bus. Upon arrival, you can take a taxi to the lodge (approximate cost: $25,000).
