About this escape

An eco-lodge perched on the cliffs of Chiloé, with the cabin overlooking the sea and the beach right at your feet. Two nights to truly unwind: a traditional Chiloé breakfast, dinners by the ocean, and the penguins of Puñihuil just 2 km away. Here, all you can hear is the sea.

  • 2 Chilote-style breakfasts served in your cabin at the time of your choosing (hand-kneaded bread, local honey, free-range eggs, and murta and maqui jams).

Day 1
  • Check-in starting at 3:30 p.m. and a warm welcome from your hosts, Catalina and José.
  • Free afternoon: scenic overlooks, the beach down the cliff where the cabin is located, and sunset over the Pacific.
  • Dinner at the lodge.
Day 2
  • Chilote breakfast at your cabin.
  • Free day: Puñihuil penguin colonies, trails on the property, or optional guided activities.
  • Dinner at the lodge.
Day 3
  • Chilote breakfast in your cabin.
  • Check-out by 12:00 p.m.

What to bring
  • Warm, windproof clothing (the weather on Chiloé changes quickly).
  • Comfortable, waterproof shoes for hiking and walking on the beach.
  • Swimsuit and towel if you book the sauna.
  • Reusable water bottle.
How to get there

The lodge is located in the cove of Pumillahue, 22 km from Ancud. The final stretch is a gravel road; please drive carefully.

  • By car: Follow Google Maps or Waze to Pumillahue.
  • By plane: Fly to Castro or Puerto Montt (El Tepual), rent a car, and you’ll get there easily. A 4x4 isn’t necessary.
  • By bus: Take the bus to Ancud and then transfer to the Pumillahue area.
